ESBES - ISPPP - Thermodynamics 2010 Bologna, Italy from 6 September - 8 September 2010 (workshops on 5 September). This time the ESBES Symposium will be held together with the 30th International Symposium on the Separation of Proteins, Peptides and Polynucleotides (ISPPP) and the 3rd International Symposium on Biothermodynamics (ISB). The name of the 3 joined Symposia is BEST 2010 - Bio Engineering Separation Thermodynamics 2010. BEST 2010 provides the unique opportunity to discover new science, technologies, processes, and applications, dedicated to researchers in science as well as product developers in industry, by bringing together three recognised symposia at the same time and in one place. Separations for Biotechnology 2011 Midland Hotel, Manchester, UK Downstream processes used in the manufacture of biologicals have relied on a series of orthogonal steps to effect a high degree of purification. With recent developments in ligand design, base matrices and the introduction of novel platforms or disruptive technologies the more established techniques in chromatography have been augmented with new, state of the art downstream technologies.
